1)Why are people protesting and demonstrating around the country? What issues about immigration are being debated? People are protesting to stop the proposition HR4437 from becoming a law. This bill states that all illegal immigrants are criminals, people who help illegal immigrants are criminals, and to enforce the border by making a wall. Immigrants don't find it fair that we are being called criminals because we didn't steal anything or killed anybody. 2)What were you trying to achieve with the walkout? What was the point of walking out? We were trying to cause commotion to show people that we were not happy about it. We wanted to make noise and get attention.
3)Did you achieve your objectives with the walkout? Why or why not?
Yes we did. We got people talking and thinking. We showed that we were peaceful and that we dont lose our cool. We followed the rules and showed were not criminals. When police officers stopped us they saw that we were doing nothing wrong and left us alone.
4)What were some of the other consequences of walking out?
We got Saturday detention from 9 am to 12.
5)How was the protest in the radio story different from the protest on Monday?
I don't really know. I guess its that there was adults there.
What could have been done differently to protest the proposed law on immigration?
We needed more people but alot of them were scared of what the consequences were.

When you accept a friend request from someone you dont know and then talk to them and agree to meet them thats the stupidest thing you could do.

I dont think its right, I think that it shouldnt be blocked but they should talk to us about it. Were not that stupid, we dont accept people we dont know. No one likes to be sexually abused so no one will take the risk.
1) What did you like about meeting Luis Rodriguez? I thought it was good to meet someone that has gone thru what a lot of us are going thru. He taught us that you can get trhu it just like he did.2) Do you think it's a good thing that he started the cultural center? (explain) I think its a very good thing. a. Do you agree or disagree with Mr. Chang? Why or why not? I kind of agree with him but mostly I dont. Students are who they are and they will do what they want to do. Its bad enough that we have to wear uniform in high school but that whole tucking in shirts is just not right. The cursing even adults do it and its not gonna stop. The couples thing is just teenage love, we arenot robots if students want to kiss then they are gonna do it.

Theres pretty much nothing more we can do. The school is pushing their limits. Going to this school is already bad enough keep pushing and there will be no students left.

Stop making such a big deal out of things. Kids mostly do things if they are told not to.

a. How did I do my first semester at Animo Venice?
In my first semester I didnt do too well. I didnt fail but I know I could do better. Specially with detention.

Ethnic Studies was easy for me because it was interesting, also English.

Technology and Geometry were kind of difficult because I stopped trying after a while.
